I purchased this exact Saeco model from Costco last December as a Christmas present for my husband and he uses it everyday. We have never had any problems and would highly recommend this unit. This is our first fully automatic unit after using several semi-automatic higher end coffee/espresso makers. Like going from Kia to a Lexus. We have never had to ventilate the machine, even after sitting over 21 days while we were on holiday.
