I have had my Livietta T2 for two years and am very happy with my purchase. It's an extremely high quality machine with solid, heavy components and yet a remarkably small footprint (preserving relative marital harmony. It has easy-to-access inside components, so anyone with the desire to do so can easily and intuitively take apart the insides for routine cleaning and maintenance. The machine is made in Italy, near Milan. But unlike many of the Italian machines, Pasquini has a well-established US headquarters, located in Los Angeles. From my experience, they actually pick up the phone, and if you need a part or get technical advise, you will talk with a real person right away. Pasquini Espresso Co. 1501 W Olympic Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90015 (213) 739-0480 By the way, the 57mm portafilter allows you to use a trimmed Red Bull can (also 57mm in diameter) as a chute so that grinds move directly into the portafilter from your grinder, with absolutely no mess. I use a Baratza Virtuoso without the bin. This is by far the neatest system I have found (and I have researched it extensively online).

Commercial Portafilter and Brew Group

Dual Thermblock Boiler System

The Livietta T2 has 2 thermoblocks for a steady supply of espresso as well as steam, anytime you need it. Simple Controls

Using the Livietta is very straightforward, with 3 professional-style rocker switches to control brewing, steaming and power. The rocker switch on the right side of the machine turns it on, and it takes just 2 minutes for the Livietta to heat up to brewing temperature. The buttons on the left side are for steaming and brewing, and each one is labeled clearly for ease-of-use.
3-Way Solenoid Valve

The Pasquini Livietta T2 has a built-in 3-way solenoid valve to relieve water pressure at the end of the brewing cycle. When the brew switch is turned off, the 3-way solenoid valve is activated. This will eliminate excess water in the grouphead, avoiding dripping or spattering when the portafilter is removed.
Cup Warmer

The Livietta has a stainless steel cup warmer on the top of the machine, with a built-in rail to keep all of your cups secure. The cup warmer is heated by passive heat from the thermoblock boilers, ensuring all your cups are preheated and ready for brewing. The cup warmer is large enough to store 10 demitasse cups.

Nespresso C185/T Le Cube Automatic Machine

So if you are thinking of buying an espresso machine, look no further. This could not be simpler to use. I bought this machine 4 weeks ago and am probably through about 80 capsules (mostly for entertaining) and have since probably had 2 friends purchase the exact same one because of the taste, texture and quality of espresso. How can you beat a world class fresh espresso in about 30 seconds!!

The Nespresso pod's system could not be easier to use and clean. I think for the quality of product, the cost is also very reasonable per use.

I highly recommend this machine for true espresso aficionado's who are willing to depart from making their espresso's manually. I did and am very happy since.

Side note, if you are looking at getting the Nespresso Aeroccino...I would probably look at another brand...I have not had very good luck using it for cappuccino's as it seems to hang regularly (note, that I only drink espresso's and make cappuccino's only when I must :)).

Just purchaseed this machine this week.I must say at first i was a little leary from the not so great reviews i read on Amazon. However I did some more research and found many positive reviews elsewhere online so decided to give it a try>
The Saeco Talea Ring is very advanced and offers many settings that you wouldn't find on the average super automatic machine. It can be pretty tricky to find the right setting for your taste but definatelly possible. After 4 trial expresso's and maybe 20 min to setup all the settings I had perfectlly brewed coffee with nice rich crema. I did not experience any leaaking or messes mentioned on the other reviews.
My only negative comment if you want to call it that is the machine is a bit pricey however i love my coffee and my beleif is satisfaction justifies the cost.

Jura-Capresso 13187 Impressa E8 Super-Automatic Espresso Machine, Black

I was using a Gaggia Carezza for the last couple of years, but was getting tired of spending about 10 minutes to make a latte each time. I found a refurbished E8 online and decided to take a leap and buy my first superautomatic. Here is my take on the pros and cons:

PRO: Super easy to use. The machine tells you when you need to clean, add water, empty the grounds, everything. The machine heats up very quickly and stays hot, even for steaming. This is definitely a benefit when you are trying to make coffee drinks for more than 2 people. With my Gaggia, making more than 2 drinks was a chore because you had to refill the tank and reheat multiple times.

CONS: I feel I'm not getting the espresso taste out of the Jura as I did with the Gaggia. Don't get me wrong, the taste still beats the pants off Starbucks or any coffee chain, but you don't really have much control over how long your shot is, how hard to tamp the grounds, and it is difficult to see how the difference in the grind settings. Also, I don't get as nice of froth with the Jura as I did with the Gaggia. I might get the optional FrothXpress attachment and try that.

Since this is my first superautomatic, I'm not sure if these problems are Jura E8 specific, or common among all supers. All in all, I am very happy with the machine. I should also note that recently the machine started leaking out the bottom. I will see how their warranty department works.
